The Mirror is a new initiative to experience digital journalism. Our mission is to provide you fresh information and entertain, no matter where you are. Since 2018, we focus our energy and vigour to face a world which is constantly changing by building a online journal. Our readers is our gold, understand theirs new habits and wishes guides our work.

The Mirror is known for its cosmopolite way to thinking journalism. With a team composed entirely by foreign journalists, we pursue good stories around the world from differents points of view and cultures.

The Mirror is a name which references the plurality of our team and readers at the same time. In front of a mirror, we all have a need to understand ourselves and clarify some questions, a thirst of information. In front of a mirror, we’re all equal, information should be accessible and well built.

How we work

Ethics policy

Our journalists work according to the French Press Council’s code of conduct. We promote regular conferences to our staff about the rules and norms to verify the stories.

Unnamed sources

Our journalists have an obligation to protect their sources. Integrity, experience and professionalism are key words for our staff. Editors have the responsibility to check the stories provenance.
